Performance intake — Oxford Q2

Tailored intake for Q2 performance projects: ECU remaps, turbo upgrades, exhaust tuning, and project planning for compliant, high-performance results across the UK.

What this intake covers

Our intake captures current vehicle state, intended use, performance targets, budget range and compliance needs (MOT, emissions, insurance). We produce a staged plan with estimated costs and timelines.

  • Baseline diagnostics & logger data
  • ECU mapping strategy (stages, E40/E85 options)
  • Turbo, downpipe, exhaust, intercooler options
  • Wheels, suspension and body kit integration
Dyno run data and technician adjusting ECU

Intake checklist (quick)

Make, model, year, engine code, mileage, recent service history, MOT status, and known issues.

Daily driver, track use, occasional track days, drag, or full competition — plus target power and drivability priorities.

Estimated budget brackets, must-have upgrades, and preferred completion window for Q2 projects.

Typical Q2 performance plans

Stage 1 — remap for reliability and drivability: intake, cat-back exhaust, mild ECU calibration, and basic dyno validation. Typical uplift 10–20%.

Stage 2 — upgraded turbo, high-flow downpipe, intercooler, full exhaust and custom map. Power rises depend on hardware; dyno and logging included.

Track-focused — forged internals, big turbo option, standalone management or advanced ECU tuning, suspension and brake upgrade coordination.

FAQs & compliance notes

Will remaps affect MOT?We design maps to retain emissions compliance where possible; we advise prior MOT checks and document changes for future testing.
Insurance implications? Most insurers require declared modifications. We provide detailed upgrade lists and certification support on request.
Warranty concerns? We discuss manufacturer warranty impacts; for high-risk changes we recommend staged approaches and component warranties.
